The University of Manchester Innovation Factory (“UoMIF”) is the University of Manchester’s subsidiary responsible for identifying and leading the commercialisation of its innovations and intellectual property.

As part of our objective to become the world’s most effective University Technology Transfer organisation, we are wanting to appoint a talented Asset Portfolio Analyst to complement the Asset Portfolio team with key responsibilities and accountabilities sitting within the realms of Licensee Portfolio Management, Spinout Portfolio Management and Alliance Management & Reporting.
The successful candidates core capabilities will be to establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, commercial partners and spinouts to ensure proactive asset portfolio management.
They will work with the deal team to generate post-deal summaries for licenses and also liaise with our Payroll & Finance team making sure that all financial obligations are met.
A degree or similar level 6 qualification (England, Wales and N.Ireland Qualification levels) or equivalent is essential for this role. A post graduate qualification in a business-related discipline would be advantageous.
