The University of Manchester Innovation Factory (“UoMIF”) is the University of Manchester’s subsidiary responsible for identifying and leading the commercialisation of its innovations and intellectual property.

As part of our objective to become the world’s most effective University Technology Transfer organisation, we are looking to appoint a talented Systems Administrator to complement our Corporate Services team.

The Systems Administrator will be required to own projects, solutions and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative. They will also have responsibility for handling business critical IT tasks and systems which provide commercial advantages in the global marketplace.

To this effect, knowledge of the Microsoft 365 technology stack including InTune, Azure AD, SharePoint and Exchange Online is paramount.

Reporting to the Corporate Services Director, this role will maintain essential IT permissions on a plethora of platforms such as Wellspring, Hubspot and Sage to name a few.

The successful candidate must possess a strong background within IT systems administration and be qualifies to degree level/Level 4 in a related subject e.g., IT, Computing, Computer Science…
