The University of Manchester Innovation Factory is delighted to announce that Freddy Guemeni, Head of IP Services, has been recognised in the IAM Strategy 300: The World’s Leading IP Strategists 2025, a global listing of individuals shaping the future of intellectual property and driving innovation through the strategic use of Intellectual Property (IP) assets.
At the Innovation Factory, Freddy leads the team that manages the University’s intellectual property portfolio. His team ensures the integrity of IP rights, advises on IP matters and strategy, and maximises the value of the University’s intellectual assets. Working in close partnership with the Innovation Factory’s commercialisation managers, they provide the IP foundation that supports the development of business cases, licences and spinout companies.
Freddy’s inclusion in the Strategy 300 acknowledges his expertise in portfolio management and IP strategy, which underpin the Innovation Factory ’s ability to create routes to market for University innovations. His work ensures that world-class research from The University of Manchester can be effectively protected and translated into products and services that benefit society.
