About the event:
This is a unique opportunity for researchers at The University of Manchester to present innovative ideas that address challenges in recycling. Participants will pitch to a panel of industry and investment experts who will provide written feedback and identify opportunities for further development and collaboration.*
Researchers from PhD level onwards, including postdoctoral researchers, fellows and academic staff are encouraged to participate.
We welcome ideas across the recycling and circular economy landscape, including but not limited to:
- Advanced recycling technologies
- Critical materials recovery
- Smart recycling systems & AI
- Materials designed for recyclability
- Textile recycling & circular fashion
- Consumer behaviour, education & policy
- Waste sorting, collection & recovery
