Sustainable Innovative Energy Solutions: Pitch Day Event

This event was held on 28th October 2024 at the CTF Building for academics and researchers at The University of Manchester, with innovative energy projects with the potential to create real-world impact.

A big thank you to all panellists, presenters, and organisers who helped make this Sustainable Energy Solutions Pitch Day Event such a success.

The judging panel heard eight pitches from academics working at the cutting edge of their respective fields, with topics covering energy storage, battery recycling, and novel materials for next-generation heat pumps. These solutions hold the potential to not only drive innovation but also to make a real impact on achieving net-zero goals.

We look forward to supporting the development of these projects and exploring further collaborations that turn these innovations into scalable solutions.

A special thanks to Karina Mironyuk and David Schiele BSc, MAPM, MCIWM at the Energy Innovation Agency for collaborating on this event, as well as panellists Maria Brucoli, Libbie Mowbray, Gareth Llewellyn, Cormac Neeson, Bassel Hajj, Kevin Aisbitt, Gareth Jones, and Travis Ralph-Donaldson and May Bassanino for your support.
