Innovation Discovery Manager (Science & Engineering)
Ben is an Innovation Discovery Manager at the University of Manchester Innovation Factory, supporting the commercialisation of research across the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
Ben completed an integrated MSc in Chemistry followed by a PhD on the synthesis of organic dye compounds at the University of Nottingham.
He then moved into commercial R&D in the chemical industry, working on medium and large scale synthesis of organic building blocks and intermediates. He primarily supports projects in the Department of Chemistry and the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences.
