Christopher is our Senior Innovation Discovery Manager for Life Sciences. He is responsible for identifying commercially viable Life Science projects and optimising them for real world impact.
Previous to joining the UoM Innovation Factory, Chris worked for the Medicines Discovery Catapult in the Commercial team as a Funding and Research Development Officer, focusing on partnership development, IP, grant funding and commercialisation, working with both industry and academic partners.
He has had roles in both industry and academia, as a Study Director in a cancer focused CRO, and as researcher at The University of Manchester specialising in stem cell models, epigenetics, and extracellular matrix. He gained his PhD in tissue engineering from the University of Manchester and holds an MSc and BSc from The University of Sheffield.
