Rachel is Head of HR & Talent at the University of Manchester Innovation Factory, where she oversees all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee onboarding, induction, and HR systems and processes.
She also serves as the first point of contact for HR-related queries and is focused on continually enhancing HR service delivery across the organisation.
Rachel joined the Innovation Factory in April 2024 and brings broad generalist HR experience. She began her career as an HR Administrator in the childcare sector before progressing to Group HR Manager at Halliwell Jones, a MINI and BMW franchise in the North West. She holds a master’s degree in Human Resource Management and Development from the University of Salford and a CIPD Level 7 qualification.
