Stephnie is a Business Analytics Manager, responsible for analysing the commercial viability of health and life sciences from the University of Manchester.
Stephnie has over 20+ years of experience in bioscience and translational research, working in both academia and industry. Stephnie holds a degree and PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Liverpool. Her post-doc in ophthalmology involved collaborations with clinicians and industry on translational research projects to understand disease mechanisms, drug and cell-based therapies, and development of novel biomaterials for cell replacement and antimicrobial bandage contact lenses.
Prior to joining the Innovation Factory, Stephnie served as Principal Scientist and Product Development Lead at MicroBioSensor Ltd, developing point-of-care in vitro diagnostic devices from early concept through to commercialisation, providing expertise in the product development life cycle and regulatory compliance.
