Tibor is a life sciences business development and deal-making expert, with over 30 years of experience in healthcare and in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology sector.
Tibor first got involved in patient care as an orthopaedic surgeon. Following a PhD and an MBA he entered the world of life sciences business and as a consultant advised a range of small innovators and global large companies about their product development and commercialisation strategies.
In the past decade, prior to his current role, Tibor has been in business development for larger pharma companies (Shire, Takeda, Vertex) responsible for technology search & evaluation, execution of asset partnering and acquisition transactions across a range of disease indications and therapeutic modalities.
In his current role, Tibor is heading the responsibilities for creating spinout companies, equity investments and licensing deals for innovations in life sciences.
