CareLoop Health has been accepted on a prestigious digital health accelerator programme : KQ Labs.

CareLoop Health, the Digital Therapeutics spinout company from UoM, has secured its place on this programme which is delivered by the Francis Crick Institute and funded by LifeArc.

KQ Labs is an accelerator programme for exciting early-stage start-ups using data as a core part of their business model to improve human health.

The five-month accelerator programme comprises of an initial three days of introductory workshops followed by once-weekly workshops and seminars. Participating start-ups will also be introduced to and mentored by a hand-picked network of experts, investors, and corporates. The programme will conclude in March 2023 with a Demo Day, where participants will pitch their company to potential investors and partners.

CareLoop Health’s mission is to transform mental healthcare using software to predict problems, prevent escalation, and personalise care.

CareLoop Health are currently seeking seed funding of £750K that will be used to bring the company’s first digital therapeutics (DTx) for serious mental illnesses to the UK market.
