As Senior Investment & Licensing Manager, Richard is responsible for intellectual property licensing, forming new University spin out companies and securing investment.

Richard brings to this role over 17 years commercial experience in technology licensing, start up growth and strategy, new product market entry and investment. He has led on licensing and commercialisation deals from multinational companies, Universities and governments in over 20 countries, as well as representing UK government agencies in complex international product supply, licensing and research agreements.

Richard was based in China for 15 years, where he successfully founded and exited two companies engaged in the businesses of new product market entry/distribution and IP commercialisation.
