As Investment & Licensing Manager (Life Sciences), Elliott is responsible for licensing university technologies to industry partners and forming university spin-out companies. He specifically focuses on technologies and spin-out companies in the life science sector.

Elliott was previously a Business Manager at the medical research charity LifeArc, where he supported commercialisation of intellectual property owned by the Medical Research Council. Prior to this, he received training in technology transfer as part of LifeArc’s Technology Transfer Programme. During this one-year programme, Elliott was seconded to some of London’s leading technology transfer offices – the Imperial College Enterprise Division, UCL Business, and Queen Mary Innovation. Elliott has a research background in infectious diseases and immunology, holding a PhD from Imperial College London.
